LOCAL PARTNERS.
On the Mississippi Gulf Coast, wildlife rehabbers network and support each other with transportation, supplies, information and know-how.
Together, we promise the public that we will provide animal(s) in distress with the best individual care for their specific needs. Sometimes this means referrals to, or transfers between organizations because some groups specialize in certain species and/or may have more appropriate resources at a particular time.
There are only two (2) organizations on the Gulf Coast that possess the required Unlimited Federal Permits to rescue, rehab and release birds of prey and waterbirds. They are Gulf Coast Wildlife Rehab (GCWR) and Wildlife Care and Rescue Center (WCRC).
